How Biggie Smalls Reconnected Tupac And Ex-Girlfriend Desiree Smith

Desiree Smith appeared for an exclusive interview with Cam Capone News where she revealed how Biggie Smalls helped to reconnect her and Tupac Shakur.

In the early nineties, Desiree and Tupac would meet at Club Muse in New York City. Desiree hit the club hoping to lift her spirits after finding out her boyfriend had cheated on her. In attendance that night was Bobby Brown, Biggie Smalls and Tupac, all who hit the stage and performed.

According to Smith, this was around the time Tupac was in New York filming ‘Above The Rim.’ Directed by Jeff Pollack, the film also stars Duane Martin, Leon Robinson and Marlon Wayans.

Desiree and Tupac would meet after the show, where they would hang out at the hotel. “He invited me and wanted to know if I wanted to have some drinks, smoke and hang out at the hotel. And I was like you know what Ima go,” Desiree recalled. “We were all in the living room drinking, talking, laughing and getting to know each other.”

Unfortunately for Desiree, she would lose her pager shortly after Tupac gave her his pager number. “I was devasted after that.” Luckily for Desiree Smith, she would run into Biggie in a club. “He told me he had spoken to Pac, but I don’t think he did,” Desiree explained. “He was like come with us, Ima take you to his hotel. I was like, ‘Ok, cool whatever.'”

Hours later, Tupac knocked on the hotel door and finally reconnected with Desiree. “He saw me and was like, ‘What are you doing here?’ He must have thought I was with one of the dudes, but I wasn’t. So, I was like, ‘Biggie brought me here and he told me he called you.’ He was like, ‘I was sleep.'”
