Hughes Brothers won’t take on this project alone. Joining Hughes are producers Lasse Jarvi, Charles D. King, Tom Whalley, and Tom Pellegrini. Dr. Dre will contribute to the docuseries, joining his long time friend Allen Hughes.

Dear Mama will be told through the eyes of the people who knew them best. Jasmine Guy, Jamal Joseph, Tim Roth, Mike Tyson, Mickey Rourke and more have been confirmed for the series. Snoop Dogg will also contribute to the series and will provide perhaps the series its most emotional moment. According to Allen Hughes, Snoop Dogg was interviewed in the very same hospital room in Vegas in which Tupac laid before passing away.
