“We met him, actually Strayer University,” said Lord Jazz during the 3 minute plus clip. “Digital Underground came to perform for our homecoming. We just got cool with Pac.”
From there on, 2Pac and the Lords of the Underground would connect again and did shows together. In November of 1994, 2Pac and Stretch attended the Lords Of The Underground album release party for their studio album ‘Keepers of the Funk’.

“Pac was a wild dude, when he was drinking. But when he wasn’t, intellectual just smooth dude,” Lord Jazz recalled. While reflecting on Shakur, Lord Jazz also spoke about 2Pac’s influence on the White youth. “He had a lot of people afraid of him, including White America. When you have young white suburban kids putting bandana’s like 2Pac. Getting Thug Life tattoos, its like woah — this guy is getting big.”
