Tony Yayo Agrees Katt Williams Outburst Was Like Tupac’s “Hit ‘Em Up”
Tony Yayo returns on Vlad TV where the G-Unit member responds to Katt Williams viral interview where he called out names like Tupac on “Hit ‘Em Up.”
Katt Williams’ appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay drew over 48 million views for the full length interview. It shouldn’t come as no surprise. Williams provided the new year’s first viral moments. Unleashing on Diddy, Ludacris, Steve Harvey and Kevin Hart to name a few.
“In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold out Kevin Hart show [or] there being a line for him, [or] ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club. He already had his deals when he got here,” Williams said around the 20-minute mark. “Have we heard of a comedian that came to L.A., and in his first year in L.A., he had his own sitcom on network television and had his own movie called “Soul Plan” that he was leading? No, we’ve never heard of that before that person, or since that person. What do you think a plant is?”
Returning back on VLAD TV after going on a successful tour with 50 Cent, was Tony Yayo who was also ready to give his thoughts on all that has been trending — including Katt Williams.
After listing Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, and Martin to start his top 10 comedians G.O.A.T. list, Tony Yayo gave Katt Williams the number 5th spot. Others such as Jim Carrey, Mike Epps and Bernie Mac were also mentioned. Unable to curate a complete list on the spot, Yayo and Vlad agreed Williams is above Kevin Hart.
“Katt is gonna say what he wanna say and that’s just how Katt Williams is,” explained Yayo. “But Kevin Hart is a good business man. You can’t take that away from him. Once you have a movie with The Rock, you good.”
“He’s gonna say what he’s gonna say. Some people are just like that. I’m like that. I say what I wanna say. A lot of people say what they wanna say. What does he have to lose,” added Yayo agreeing with Vlad that Williams’ outburst was like Tupac’s ‘Hit ‘Em Up.’ “Shout out to Katt Williams and shout out to everyone he mentions cause they’re all legends.”
