Young Noble Addresses Nas AGAIN: Truth Season Is Here!
Despite Nas being one of his favorite rappers and genuinely respecting what the Queens native brought to hip hop, Noble is not going to remain silent as many take “shots” at the late Tupac Shakur.
“These guys been throwing shots at ‘Pac for 20 something years and we been ignoring all these n*****,” Explained Noble during a recent episode of WTF Weekly.
Noble also noted he does not feel Nas will answer back. Claiming every line in his seven minute diss record is the truth. Since the release of Euthanasia, Noble has been taunting Nas, hoping the rap icon dropped his own diss record within 24 hours.
There’s nothing he can come back and say,” Noble continued on a live call on Yukmouth TV. “Noble did nothing wrong to that man. At all. I got a whole DM conversation of me and him showing love to each other. Then after that he’s using Tupac as promotion for f****** his album.”
The last outlaw is referring to Nas’ King’s Disease trilogy which kicked off in 2020. During the trilogy on the record, Death Row East, Nas reflected on his infamous run in with Tupac during the MTV Music Awards after party, giving his own account of how things went down.
According to Noble his Nas diss record was on hold for a year. “N**** was nah don’t do it. Leave it alone. I was like aight, ima save it. He’s gonna make me use it. I can tell the way he’s moving,” said Noble.
Noble’s issues with Nas also involve the Queensbridge legend’s cousin, Jungle. Back in 2021, Nas and Jungle appeared on Apple Music’s Rap Life. During the episode Jungle recalled an incident involving Tupac before the 1996 MTV Music Awards took place. Sharing his account of what occurred letting listeners know he was ready to take Tupac’s Death Row chain. “Mobb Deep, what’s up Pac? what’s up? I’ll take your chain right now,” claimed Jungle.
All these years these n***** throwing s*** on his name and Nas letting his brother in interviews talking about he was gonna s**** him. He’s supposed to correct his brother right on the spot,” said Noble on WTF Weekly.
Another correction Young Noble and others close to Tupac feel should be corrected is Nas claiming he introduced Tupac to Hennessey. The drink is heavily used in Tupac’s rap, forever linking them together. According to Nas in his 2021 release Magic, he was responsible for putting Tupac on the henny.
“I remember I put 2Pac onto that Henny,” he says. “Howard University… Howard Homecoming, D.C…. He was like, ‘What’s this?!’… He drank that shit, though… Word… Crazy. Super hard.”
Two years later, Nas and the French brandy linked to celebrate Hip Hop 50 with a limited edition Hennessy V.S bottle.
