Hip hop journalist, Sway, has added to the rumors when it comes to Tupac appearing at the Super Bowl halftime show.
Sway was interviewed by Access Hollywood at SiriusXM studios in Los Angeles. When asked about the possibility of a Tupac surprise appearance via a hologram, Sway did not say a word, but his facial expression said it all.
Filled with all types of emotions, Sway kept it together and did not leak any information. But his co-host of Sway In The Morning could not help herself. When Sway said that there would be some “guaranteed surprises” in the halftime show, since Dr. Dre “has a connection to everyone,” Heather interjected: “Even Tupac!”
“You didn’t hear that one. You didn’t catch that from us,” he joked in response.
Sway has his own connection with Tupac. The hip hop journalist interviewed Tupac on various occasions, including one of Tupac’s last interviews.
If indeed Tupac will make a surprise appearance via a hologram, he will join Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre who will all hit the stage during the Pepsi halftime show. Produced by Jay-Z, the night will be one to remember for hip hop fans.
