Cronikole Channels Tupac On “Catch Me If You Can” Mixtape

Albuquerque, New Mexico artist Cronikole returns with “Catch Me If You Can” EP via O4L Digital paying tribute to Tupac.

Inspired by some of Tupac’s classics such as Me Against The World, Ambitionz Az A Ridah, Changes and Hail Mary — Cronikole delivers a must-listen to EP. Entitled “Catch Me If You Can,” the 6-track release not only has the lyrical beast masterfully rap over iconic Tupac beats such as No More Pain, Cronikole also links with Outlawz member E.D.I. Mean.

Childhood friend of Tupac Shakur and member of the legendary group Outlawz, E.D.I. Mean provides his stamp of approval hosting the EP. “A couple of years ago me and you hooked up and you sent me your first project Artificial Intelligence. When I heard your music, first person that came to mind to me was ‘Em,” EDI is heard on the new EP praising the talented artist.

“If I could change time then I would, but this is real life it ain’t Hollywood / Gotta do my best for the ones that is still here, Gotta keep myself strong / So I can still be picking up the pieces up, Help you get up when you fall,” Cronikole raps on the Changes inspired track “What If God Was A Thug.”

E.D.I.’s hosting of “Catch Me If You Can” also represents the return of Cronikole on O4L Digital, the label founded by the Outlawz member. Despite the brief pause between the two parties, Cronikole has many projects under his belt which can be found on his official website cronikole.com and was also recently featured on Young Noble‘s Outlaw Nation Vol 8.
