Grammy nominated producer Hit-Boy shares a clip via Twitter paying homage to Johnny J as he works on the “Death Row East” beat.

Hit-Boy who worked on Nas’ thirteen studio album “King’s Disease 2′, shared a video of himself creating the baseline for “Death Row East.” Along with the clip, Hit-Boy wrote the following tweet, “Coming up wit the bassline on “death row east” rip to Johnny j my main inspiration for this beat. #KD2.”

During Tupac’s rise in the music industry on Death Row records, Shakur linked up with producer Johnny J. Hits such as “How Do U Want It” , “All Bout U” and “Life Goes On” were all produced by the late Johnny J.
